Apartamento Brilhante e Lindo C/ Varanda *Baixa

Great location in Lisbon Positive: The location is great, close to lots of restaurants and the train/metro systems. The apartment was comfortable and the bedrooms were a decent size. We didn't use the kitchen for cooking but it was well equipped with a stove, dishwasher and fridge. We also liked having a washing machine. The shower was small but good water pressure and lots of hot water. Lots of toilet paper too - bonus marks for that. We received excellent instructions on how to find the place and our questions to the manager were answered promptly and professionally. The stairs are steep, but wide and easy to navigate. Negative: We knew there was no air conditioning when we booked but we hit a heat wave while we were there and it was HOT. But all of the windows open and we were able to get air flowing. There were fans in every room which helped. If it had not been temperatures near 40C this probably would not have been an issue. We thought the little terrace would have been more usable - you can sit on it but it's very small and if you have any fear of heights it's a little daunting. It does have a very nice view though. The street below does have restaurants but is pedestrian only, so it's loud for a while but fairly quiet during the night. However, we happened to be there during FIFA and on the nights that Brazil and Portugal won their respective games it was loud all night long. Obviously this is a timing thing and not a consistent issue.

Prima appartement, netjes en makkelijk met in- en uitcheck. Positive: De locatie, het balkonnetje en de heerlijke douche. Negative: De poort en de steeg naar het appartement waren heel vies. De omschrijving was dat het appartement op de eerste verdieping was, maar het was eerst een hele klim naar de voordeur en toen nog twee verdiepingen naar boven.

Tres agréable, l’appartement est au cœur de Lisbonne, moderne et propre. Positive: L’emplacement, la propreté, luminosité de l’appartement Negative: Le matelas de la 1ere chambre pourrait être changé car en fait c’est 2 petits matelas pour un grand lit
