Stylish 2 Bedroom Apartment in Lisbon

Fabulous location, really nice little apartment, but the stairs are a bit of a workout. Positive: Location was perfect. The apartment was all new (or felt that way!) Right in the heart of Lisbon, yet with a pedestrian street below it was incredibly quiet location. It was a very decent size for a Lisbon vacation rental. The two bedrooms being separated by the lounge gave extra quiet for everyone at night as well. Negative: The owner was at pains to point out it was on the second floor with no elevator, so no surprises were there to hit us. (And kudos for him being totally upfront about that at the time if booking.) But the stairs were really steep and each step was a big step up. Plus there were also a number of street steps to climb to even get to the ground floor entrance. (And in the rain these steps felt none to comfortable to descend…) For sure though, nothing was insurmountable, it’s just that if you have mobility challenges to any level, this likely is not the place for you.

Perfect flat for a short stay Positive: The location was perfect for seeing all the sights of the city. Negative: The thin walls and being able to hear neighbours in the below apartment coming in at 1am having an argument and snoring most of the night.
