Stylish 2 Bedroom Apartment in Lisbon

Positive: The apartment was spacious with an updated bathroom and 2 bedrooms with a nice living area between. We were greeted with a traditional Portuguese pastry on the table to welcome us. The key system was easy and efficient. The location was great and felt safe and very comfortable for 2 women. The host checked in with us to make sure everything was good. That is always great to have a local contact number in case. I was happy they checked in. All was great. Highly recommended Negative: The only issue we had was that we came off a 2 week adventure in Morocco, so we both had big and heavy suitcases. There was some cobblestones and stairs to navigate to get to the apartment and then more stairs to get to the second floor. But, a kind gentleman that was near when we arrived actually insisted on helping us get the bags up the stairs and to the door. So kind.

Comfortable stay in great location. Close to Fado music in the Alfama district Positive: Great location Negative: Apartment was on 4th story and no lift. We had two 20kg suitcases so found this very difficult. We were lucky to have a private driver that found the property and assisted us with our luggage. We had to hire a private driver to pick us up and assist bring our luggage down on check out. Would be good if you had a porter service that could assist with luggage on check in and check out. Would have been happy to pay extra for this.

Honest feedback of the apartment Positive: None Negative: Worst place I've ever stayed in a foreign country. 1. Owner not contactable 2. Very unhygienic bedsets, toilet 3. Lack of towel and amenities - stayed for 3 nights and was given one towel. No one was contactable to request for more amenities etc. 4. For you to even reach the place, you need to climb up at least 2 more floors - roads made of bumpy rocks. All these were not communicated prior. After reaching the place, you need to climb up another 3 stories with very steep stairs. Highly not recommending this place especially for families.
